What Can I Expect from My Treatment?
Using a 3D scanner, our dentist and dental staff will scan your teeth to create sets of clear teeth aligners, similar to retainers, as part of a treatment plan designed specifically to correct, align and straighten your teeth. Each subsequent aligner moves your teeth further and further into place. No molds necessary!

You’ll receive your first set of teeth aligners from Invisalign after your initial appointment. Most dental care providers will recommend that you wear your Invisalign aligners for 20-22 hours each day, only removing them to eat and brush your teeth.

After a certain amount of time allotted by our dentist, usually around two weeks, you’ll receive another set of aligners to wear for the next stage of treatment and so on. With each new set, your teeth will gradually align themselves into a smile you’ll be proud to show off.

After the treatment is complete, you’ll receive Invisalign retainers to help keep teeth in their new alignment.

Is Invisalign Right for Me?
Patients with misaligned or crooked teeth can put their dental health in danger should they not seek out teeth alignment treatment such as Invisalign. Plaque and bacteria are more likely to build up around difficult-to reach areas blocked by crooked teeth. This can lead to more cavities, teeth decay, bad breath and sometimes temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder and other jaw pain.

But beyond the health implications, crooked teeth can make many patients feel self-conscious about their smiles. If you’ve ever tried to hide your crooked smile, and don’t want to deal with braces, Invisalign may be the perfect treatment for you.

Why Get Invisalign Instead of Braces?
More than 3 million people and counting have chosen Invisalign to straighten and align their teeth. But why do so many patients prefer Invisalign over braces?

  • Quicker Treatments: Invisalign retainers and aligners often straighten smiles in less time than braces. Although every patient is different, on average Invisalign treatment takes about 9-15 months for complete correction, as compared to the average 2 years for braces.
  • Convenient Lifestyle: Even when Invisalign treatment does take longer in extreme cases, patients can conveniently remove aligners when eating and brushing their teeth. This is one attribute that makes Invisalign so appealing; unlike braces, aligners can be removed to avoid problems with food getting caught, flossing around wires, etc.
  • Healthier Teeth: Many patients are better able to keep their teeth healthy and clean with this removable option for teeth correction. Invisalign aligners don’t stain teeth or cause sores in the patient’s mouth like braces sometimes do.
  • Practically Invisible: Perhaps best of all, Invisalign retainers are not easily noticeable like braces. Most people hardly recognize that patients are wearing the clear aligners at all!

So if you want a straighter smile through a treatment plan that looks and feels better than braces, Invisalign is the solution for your smile.
